Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated

Balcony Sun Lab is free to read. We cover our costs with advertising and, on some pages, with affiliate links.

What an affiliate link is

If you click certain links to a retailer or manufacturer and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we may earn from qualifying purchases. Pages that contain affiliate links say so near the top.

What it doesn't change

  • Brands can't pay to be included in a guide or to be ranked higher.
  • We choose and order products based on legality where you live, certification, value and practical fit, as explained on each page.
  • We tell you when a product or plug-in solar in general isn't worth it for you, even if that means no commission.

This disclosure follows the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides and the UK Advertising Standards Authority's guidance on affiliate marketing. Questions: [email protected].
